Puerto Madryn, Hostel Posada del Catalejo

We have been staying in Puerto Madryn for a few days at a very nice hostel (see photos). I¨ve got a cold, so we decided to take it easy for a bit and sleep a lot. I´ve already started to recover. Also, I´ve had some interesting conversations at the Farmacías here about cough medicine, among other things. Puerto Madryn is a small port town, driven by the tourism industry, everyone comes here to go out to the Peninsula Valdéz. We have been walking around in the sun, and going to the beach and securing space in hostels in El Califate for our next adventure. We´ve been cooking in the kitchen here, trying to cook Argentinian food. Last night we went into a meat market and, not recognizing anything there, I semi-randomly chose a beast-bit, which the butcher sliced up for me. We think it was lamb, whatever it was, it turned out very well with potatoes and onions. -Naomi
