Bahía Blanca y Pehuén-Có

Well, we went to Villa Gesell (pronounced Visha Heshel) and it was a
tourist resort town on the beach. We were unable to find any beds in the town, everythign was full of vacationers. Apparently the last two weeks of Janruary are when all the Argentines go to the coast to vacation, february is also very busy. We took an overnight bus to Bahía Blanca, a small port city south of Buenos Aires. We have been staying here in Bahía Blanca for a couple of nights now trying to reserve hostel rooms farther south in more popular towns. Hopefully we will have some success with this and head to Puerto Madryn soon. Yesterday we took a day trip to a beautiful little beach village an hour east of the city called Pehuén-Có. We did not see any other foreigners all day on the beach at the the little cantine where we had roasted chicken for lunch. The sun is very strong here and we were definitely some of the whitest people around. Through much diligence neither of us got sunburnt. We took some nice photos at the beach but I can´t upload them on this computer, perhaps soon.
