Puerto Lopez, Ecuador, Machalilla National Park and Isla de la Plata

Before heading to Quito, we stopped for a week in Puerto Lopez, on the coast of Ecuador, for a final vacation from our vacation.  We walked through the dry forest of the national park to swim on the the beautiful beaches, relaxed in town and hung out around the fishing boats, went for a couple of amazing hikes, and took a small boat out to see the birds on Isla de la Plata.  A most relaxing and pleasant way to finish off our trip.
